Hands down we think that this Major John Plaster designed stock is the most advanced on the market. With numerous features normally only found on stocks costing much more, this is a stock that is adjustable to you and your shooting style. Designed to enhance accuracy and usability, the stock is constructed of mil-spec DuPont Rynite, not some flimsy foam filled plastic. As with most things, you get what you pay for and pay for what you get! Molded-in aluminum pillars give a rock solid stock to action fit and the barrel channel will accept and free float heavy barrels. The cheekpiece is adjustable as well as the rubber recoil pad and length of pull via spacers. Heavy checkering on the pistol grip and forend give solid traction. If you don't use a shooting glove and find the checkering aggressive it can be dulled with a file. The front base is angled for elevation adjustments if you use a shooting bag. The stock has a textured surface that really makes camo jobs adhere to it. Duckblind camo works well as will most quality spray paint. Yes, Krylon flat black works too. Basically, this stock is like going from a biplane to an F-18!Comes with mounting plate for Harris Bipod, (bipod not included). The stock comes in short or long action, the short action caliber rifles are: .223, .243, .308. Long action Caliber rifles are: 30.06, .270, .300, .375 , etc. Trigger Guard/Reciever Screw Spacing, Center to Center
